Renting A Minivan For Moving, Transporting, Or Deliveries

If you are in need of a small vehicle that has a decent amount of cargo space in it, you could consider renting a minivan or small truck for a few days to do the job and get you or your product where it needs to be. There are a lot of different options that can get you into the vehicle you need for the time you need it. Take the time to weigh out all the options before you make a decision on what is the best one for you.

Truck Rental Services

Renting a van is pretty common and a lot of the traditional moving truck companies are now renting vans and small trucks for moving a few items at a time. While not many are renting minivans, there are options for smaller commercial vans available in some areas. While not truly minivans, they are much more compact than the traditional commercial van but because there are no seats in it, they can hold a considerable amount of cargo. Check with the truck rental companies near you to see what is available and what kind of pricing they will give you. Often renting mid-week is cheaper but if that time frame doesn't work, you might have to pay a little more for the rental.

Renting Through A Car Rental Company

If you are set on a small van and can not find one through a truck rental company, you may want to look to a traditional car rental agency for a minivan to rent. If you are only in need of the van for a day or two, the cost may be as reasonable as renting from a truck rental company because with most car rentals, you can get them without mileage charges that are common in the truck rental business. If cargo is what you need to move, a small SUV might also be an option but talk to the rental company and see what they have that will do the job for you. There are many different companies renting cars, trucks, and SUVs so call around if the first place you call doesn't have what you need.

Small Trucks

If a van is not available to you, you might want to consider a small moving truck. There are a few that are built on smaller chassis with small cargo boxes that might suit your needs if moving some items or delivering products are what you are doing. Though it is not as small as a minivan, it may work in your situation so take a look and see if you have not other possible options.
